David started his career as a professional artist over 20 years ago doing commissioned art for musicians and more. Now recognized all over the world for his cover art, David continues to create illustrations for theme parks, personal collections, and libraries.

The recently completed serial illustration: Bender, The Graphic Novel was a joint project with Michael Frizell, Director of the Writing Center at MSU. This historical fiction is a project close to their hearts as the town where they grew up was home to the Bender family, the first documented serial killers.
